خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
"The best of you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."
Bukhari and Muslim
Our teachers take that trust seriously. The standards we set for attendance, behaviour, uniform and effort exist for one reason: so that every student has a calm, safe and focused place to learn the Book of Allah.
The biggest factor in a child's progress is the partnership between the teacher and the home. Come on time, come every session, and read at home. Families who do those three things see their children flourish here.
Every teacher is DBS checked and safeguarding trained. Children are supervised until they are collected.
Every child is assessed on entry and placed at the level that suits them, not their age or school year.
Two written reports and two parent meetings a year, and early contact if there is ever a concern.
Doors open ten minutes before the start time, and registers close fifteen minutes after it.

Every student follows the same structured pathway. Moving between stages needs a formal assessment by the Head Teacher or Assistant Head Teacher.
Foundation
Learning the Arabic letters, harakat, sukun, madd, shaddah and ghunnah, so every word of the Qur'an can be read without spelling it out.
Tilawah
Reading words cohesively, then short phrases, then long verses, with fluency and accuracy.
Tajweed
Whole verses read without stopping, with the rules of Tajweed applied. Hifz begins alongside.
Memorisation
Structured memorisation with daily sabaq, sabqi and manzil revision, so nothing memorised is left behind.
Ikhlas in every action, and consciousness of Allah in what is seen and unseen.
Ownership of one's learning, conduct and responsibilities.
Truthfulness and trustworthiness, in the classroom and beyond it.
Effort sustained over time, not enthusiasm that fades after a fortnight.
Ihsan: doing well what we have been asked to do.
Register online in a few minutes. We will confirm your place after an initial assessment, or add your child to the waiting list for their chosen shift.
